Passengers up 9.1% in February

The number of passengers flying from Southampton Airport rose by 9.1% last month, according to figures released yesterday. The most popular destination for the month was Edinburgh, with Amsterdam and Paris the most popular international destinations.
More than 127,000 travellers flew from the airport in February, with the half-term week seeing more than 41,000 people pass through its doors. In the 12 months to the end of February passengers were up by 4.5% to 1,937,900.
