Flybe Guernsey flight targeted by laser

A Flybe plane flying from Southampton to Guernsey was targeted by youths using a laser pen, the Guernsey press reports. The airport received a complaint about the incident on Thursday evening, as flight BE637 from Southampton landed in Guernsey at 20:25 that night.
Airport director Colin Le Ray has said: ‘We received a call from a member of the public saying they had seen a couple of youths shining a laser pen at an incoming aircraft. The pilot of the flight later confirmed he had seen lasers directed at him. The police tried to trace those involved, but they had left the area.'
