Flybe to launch cruise website

Flybe is to use its strength at Southampton Airport to attempt to sell cruises online. The airline has signed an agreement with cruise retailer Voyana to create a dedicated website, www.Flybecruise.com, which will go live on January 22.
In a two-year deal with Voyana for an unspecified six-figure sum, cruise lines including P&O Cruises, Cunard and Royal Caribbean, will be offered together with connecting flights to Southampton Airport with Flybe. Cruises are the fastest growing sector in the travel industry.
The airline claims to be the first in the UK to offer this type of holiday platform, enabling travellers flying into Southampton from any of its 33 bases to depart direct for cruises to Western Europe, the USA, the Canary Islands, the Caribbean and the Norwegian Fjords.
