Eastern to offer Inverness link

A new link is to be offered by Eastern Airways from Southampton Airport to Inverness later this month, the cheapflights.co.uk website reports. Starting on October 30, a daily flight from Southampton Airport to Leeds Bradford will offer an onward connection to Inverness.
Flights will depart Southampton at 08:35 arriving in Inverness at 11:40, with the return journey leaving Inverness at 12:15 and landing in Southampton at 15:20. Return flights cost from £99, inclusive of taxes, this is the only service currently available routing the two cities.
Graeme Ross of Eastern Airways, told the website: 'Our convenient service will not only save time for business travellers, but is also ideal for tourists taking short breaks or activity holidays in the Highlands.'
The new flights will add to Eastern Airways' current routes from Southampton Airport to Leeds Bradford, Brussels, Newcastle, Aberdeen, and the Isle of Man.
