New airport boss announced

David Lees has been appointed as the new managing director at Southampton Airport, after 3 years working at the hub. He will take over the role on July 31, when he replaces the Kevin Brown, who is to move to sister BAA hub Edinburgh Airport.
Mr Lees joined Southampton Airport in 2007 as planning and development director, and was responsible for the airport's masterplan, which sets out how the airport expects to develop in the years to 2030. He is 42, married with 2 children, and his interests include swimming, running, photography, travelling and playing the saxophone.
