Airport chemical scare
23.05.09
There was a security alert at Southampton Airport this morning, after staff discovered a chemical container in the terminal's toilets.
A Chemical Investigation Unit was called to the airport and the container was taken outside of the building so that a cordon was placed around it. The investigation was called off after the container was found to contain cooking oil. There was no disruption to passengers or flights.
