The Christmas getaway from Southampton Airport has started. Over the next 2 weeks almost one hundred thousand passengers will travel through the airport.
A spokesman for the airport advised passengers going away for Christmas not to wrap presents being carried either in checked-in or hand baggage. The airport also recommends that anyone wanting to carry party poppers or crackers should contact their airline for more information.
