Flybe announce Aberdeen, Inverness and Newquay flights
28.11.07
Flybe, the biggest airline at Southampton Airport, has announced 3 new routes from the hub as part of its summer 2008 schedule, launching on March 30 next year. The regional budget airline will launch flights to Aberdeen, Inverness and Newquay, which will bring the total number of routes it flies from Southampton to 39.
Flybe says it is launching the new routes because it believes there are enough business and leisure passengers to warrant them. One way flights to Aberdeen and Inverness will start at £27.99 including taxes and charges, while a flight to the UK's surfing capital at Newquay will cost from £21.99. Bookings on the 3 new routes can be made from today.
Jan Halliday, Southampton Airport's director of marketing and communications, said: 'We are delighted to see Flybe's continued investment in air routes to and from the region.'
