BA cut jobs and axe route

British Airways announced yesterday that it is pulling 84 staff out of Southampton Airport. The airline is shutting its operations base at the airport and will axe its Glasgow route on 27 October this year.
BA will continue to run flights to Manchester and Edinburgh from Southampton. Cabin crew and engineers affected by the decision will be offered the chance to relocate to Manchester or Edinburgh.
