Emergency landing for Flybe plane

Emergency services were placed on alert after a plane heading for Southampton Airport reported trouble this morning. The alarm was raised after the Flybe plane travelling from Jersey said that it had problems with its undercarriage.
Police were called at 10:58 and had cars on standby close to Junction five of the motorway at Eastleigh. Fire fighters and paramedics also went to the airport as a precaution. However the plane landed safely at 11:06.
