Airport closed by fog

Fog has grounded all aircraft at Southampton Airport today. A number of flights have been cancelled, some passengers have been transferred to other airports and many flights have been rescheduled.
No planes have taken off or landed since 06:30, and the airport currently cannot say when that situation will change. Some passengers have been put on coaches to other airports and had their aircraft diverted to other airports. Passengers are advised to check their flight is confirmed directly with their airline before leaving for the airport.
