Flybe lays on flights for Saints fans

Regional low-cost airline Flybe is to operate extra flights to fly Southampton fans to Sunderland and Hull for Coca their Cola Championship football matches.
On November 11, the Saints will play Sunderland and Flybe will operate a flight from Southampton at 10:00, with the return leg departing at 20:00. Prices begin at £49.99 each way, including taxes and charges.
On December 2, the team will play Hull and an extra flight for fans has been scheduled for 10:00, again returning at 20:00. Prices for this flight also begin at £49.99, including taxes and charges.
Flybe notes that travelling to Sunderland or Hull from Southampton by train or car is a long-winded process. The airline's marketing director, Simon Lilley, said: 'At Flybe we are football fans as well and we know avoiding a tortuous road journey by enjoying a short one hour flight will make a massive difference to the enjoyment of the day out.'
The airline is also flying the Southampton football team to Sunderland and Hull for the Championship fixtures.
