Flights to main Paris airport end

Southampton Airport will lose its flights to Paris’ main airport tomorrow. Flybe will switch its flights from Southampton to Paris’ secondary airport, Paris Orly, from Monday. It is closer to the centre of the city but has fewer international connections.
A Flybe spokesperson said the airline plans to re-instate its Charles de Gaulle service from Southampton ‘in the medium term’. Air France, meanwhile, will cease flights between Southampton and Paris (Orly) altogether tomorrow, handing over the route to Flybe as part of a major code sharing deal that starts this weekend.
